Holiday Camps provide existing TCYR team members the opportunity to keep in shape and stay connected with the crew throughout the holidays. It is also open to new rowers at least 14 years of age by 12/31/21, who are thinking about joining the Winter Conditioning Season. Holiday and Winter conditioning are crucial elements for successful on-the-water racing next year! Can’t commit to the Winter Season? Try one or both sessions of the Holiday Camp, and then join us for racing in the Spring!
The training camp will include:
Concept 2 rowing ergometers
Core strengthening and stability
Stretching and flexibility
Leg and upper body strengthening
Coordination and rowing specific motion
Exercises are supervised by trained rowing coaches and will include (NOT DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC):
Light to moderate weights
Pullups and other guided strengthening exercises
Register for one session for $160, or register for both sessions at the same time for a $20 discount.
Session 1: Monday – Friday at designated POD time between 3:45-6:30 –11/2/2020 – 11/20/2020
Session 2: Monday – Friday at designated POD time between 3:45-6:30 — 11/30/2020 – 12/18/2020
PODS WILL BE ASSIGNED IN TWO GROUPS – 3:35 – 5 PM & 5:15 – 6:30 PM (determined on a 1st come 1st served)
Rowers are required to bring their own Antibacterial wipes to clean their assigned erg. Rowers will not be sharing ergs.
Full Session (1 & 2 together): Pay $300 (a $20 discount)
