Rockford, IL – October 8th, 2023

The Baird Head of the Rock Regatta will celebrate its 34th year of competition Sunday, October 8th along the Rock River between Martin Park and the YMCA. This head-style rowing race features 1,800 athletes from more than 65 clubs and universities. The Head of the Rock has grown over the past 29 years into one of the Midwest’s premier rowing events and is a sanctioned event of the United States Rowing Association. This event is produced by the Rowing Club of the YMCA. Travel is via coach bus. Regatta fee includes registration processing fees, trailer cost, coach bus travel, and all food from departure to return. Membership dues and regatta fees are non-refundable.

This regatta is open to ALL rowers participating in the Fall Competitive Season.
