building teamwork, responsibility & excellence in youth through the sport of rowing
Discover Crew
The Competitive program offers crew youth who are at least 13 years old (turning 14 by the current calendar year to train and have fun in a team atmosphere. Girls and Boys row in 4 and 8 person shells (plus a coxswain to steer and direct the rowers). Teams race in local, regional, and national regattas. The competitive program is offered year-round.
We offer a fun middle school camp each summer. Learn to row on a barge, a large flat rowing platform which seats rowers and their oars. It’s a safe way to learn the basics of rowing. Before the end of the camp, rowers will be in racing shells on Bryant Lake!
This camp is designed for youth who are not familiar with sweep rowing. We offer a fun approach to learning rowing basics and developing good technique. Curious about CREW? Come check us out this summer!
ALL 13 -18 year-olds are eligible for Twin Cities Youth Rowing Club’s Basic Into to Rowing recreational camps.
