TCYR Non-Competitive Middle School Summer Camp

Curious about rowing, but not old enough to join our Competitive Team?

If you will be 11-13 years of age by the end of 2020, join our Middle School Camp, which is NOW OPEN for registration!  Who is eligible to join the non-competitive program?  Middle School kids who are at least 11 years of age by the end of 2020 OR have completed 6th grade.This is a non-competitive, recreational atmosphere for boys and girls (ages 11-13) to learn how to row.  Younger athletes will learn the importance of physical fitness, rowing technique, water safety, and working with others in a fun and positive environment.

June 22nd – July 31st. Mon-Fri from 9:00-11:00 am,  at Bryant Lake unless TCYR Twitter says go to the Boathouse.

Our Club has been working hard to develop safe practices as we return to rowing in light of the current COVID crisis. We have developed a Covid Preparedness Plan to review hygiene, mask wearing, cleaning protocols, symptom checking and potential exposure guidelines.Every Summer 2020 participant and a parent or guardian is required to participate in a pre-season Zoom COVID Training. This training as well as a signed “Acknowledgement and Release” must be completed prior to participation in any Club events, practices or meetings.

Registration Deadlines:06/01/2020 at 11:59 pm to register without a late fee & guarantee your spot on the team! There are limited spots for this camp.
